Sometimes I take pictures for this website with a 2.0MP Fujifilm
FinePix Digital Camera, model 2650. While digital is fun, especially
for editing with Photoshop CS, and generally speaking it's VERY easy
to use, I still prefer 35mm film to digital, any day. To that end I
also lean toward black and white. I think the poignancy of B&W is
just that much more striking. Seeing everyday objects as a pattern
of shadows, finding the grey areas we all take for granted with
color photography. It's just much more satisfying to me. I like the
look. I like the feel. I just like. These pictures where all taken
using a Minolta XG7, along with a small variety of lenses and
filters. Since I have enough undeveloped film to fill a luxury
vehicle front to back, I'm hoping this page will expand from time to
time.
(For sake of small download times, these pictures have all been
re-sized and resampled from the originals. If one of these catches
your eye, email me for a copy of the better versions. If somehow you
feel the need to own a print of one of these, well, email me and
we'll make arrangements.)
